Jack didn't believe in ghosts. More specifically, he didn't want to believe in ghosts. All he needed was to have his father come back from the dead and tell him he was screwing up the management of the ranch.

Dazzling Mage, it is quite familiar. It's a little like a re-telling of Dracula than anything. it's pretty good though.

Well, he's learning, deal with his father's death and all that, so went won't fear it anymore (and that's not a spoiler at all, since we know that's how romances always go. LOL). And it's a figurative ghost, not an actual paranormal or anything. :)
