As I'm forever reading more than one book at a time, I have two quotes for you again this week.
The first, from Carolyn Brown's novel I Love This Bar:pg. 28. The first full sentence reads:
"Daisy nodded and hoped Lucifer didn't jump up from hell to drag her into the fiery pits for agreeing with such a blatant lie.

Well, I guess this is page 28. . . ah, I'm taking a small break from romances, so, well, my quote's probably not what you're hoping for. ;)
