Thankful

I am a little late on this but I wanted to share what I am thankful for.

1) For my family and friends, for loving me and putting up with me for another year.
2) To the doctors at Moffitt for taking care of my little brother so well.
3) For the ability to write, and write well.
4) For the agents and editors still willing to look at submissions.
5) To my new friends at in the RWA and the Tampa branch who are so encouraging.
6) For anyone and everyone who's helped me out this year. If I've forgotten you to post your names here, I apologize.
7) For, last but not least, the few people that take time out of their day to read my posts, and follow me here on Blogger and Twitter.

Thanks to each of you. Tis all much appreciated!

New Book Review up

And, can you believe it? Two in one day! :) I have a new book review up over at the Examiner. You can see it here. I hope you enjoy it. :)

A new Thanksgiving themed article

Hi everyone! Well, I'm back from my little mini-vacation. It was nice up in Orlando yesterday. Not too hot, not too cool, but as expected the theme park was a wee bit crowded. Still, we had fun. :)

I'm back with yet another article. The Examiner loves holiday themed things so this is my contribution: Thanksgiving themed reading. Enjoy--and thanks for sticking with me, this year! :)

Boy this is a busy blogging week. Romance author C.L. Wilson is blogging at a place called Musetracks. This one will be especially interesting to writers, as she talks about worldbuilding. Don't miss it.
Links are in the article here, or you can go directly to it here. Have fun!

speaking of train wrecks

My book became one, so I've started it all over, from scratch. *sigh* A year of work down the tubes....

Zombies!

I'm currently speeding my way through this certain zombie book in preparation for reviewing it. But since I'm pretty sure I won't have it done this week, in the meantime, I popped up this review of Laurell K. Hamilton's second novel--which, incidentally, includes zombies. Gah.

(Ok, ok, listening to my little mental voice (that sounds remarkably like my fanboy little brother) yack in my ear now, so I have to eventually go toss in some codes on the ole Playstation and see if I can get away from the Resident Evil zombies before they eat my brain. LOL I wonder if that means I should drag hubby out to see Zombieland one of these fine days.... oh, dear. ;))

writing projects and train wrecks...

Too late for National Novel Writing Month, and being in the middle of something else that I don't really want to stop, (and never really being a big fan of NaNoWriMo anyway--since....50,000 a month=ouch and been there, done that before it caught on) I was amused today to find (ready for this?) NaNoRevisMo. Which shouldn't kill the hands as much, methinks.

Now if only they had pretty web badges. ;)

And good luck to all my friends in NaNoWriMo.

Another new book review posted

Posted another new book review: of Carrie Vaughn's Kitty and the Midnight Hour. Which I think is another good one. :) I hope you will enjoy it. Have a great day!

Another new review up

Hello again! Are you all recovered from Halloween candy overload yet? I hope so. I cannot believe it is November, already. November! It doesn't feel like it(and in large part because of our really warm temperatures here. Yes, I know my northern friends are cringing. Don't worry, I am sure we'll be paying for it this winter. ;))

Anywho, we had a very busy weekend, involving moving vans and lots of heavy lifting, and I'm paying for *that* right now. But I had to get some work done, so I thought I'd drop in a leave the newest link here, if anyone wants to see the latest book review. :) It's here, by the way. I hope you find it enjoyable. Have a good one, and don't go overdosing on that candy corn, y'all! ;)
